Vu Thi Ngoc Anh from Vietnam was a student of the Business Administration and Management BA program at UOD. Anh was graduated in January, 2022. Currently, she works as an Account Executive at The Locals Advertising Agency in Vietnam.


UOD’s international alumni officers invited her to tell us about the time since finishing her studies at our university.


How did you decide on choosing the University of Dunaújváros and the study program?

I chose the University of Dunaújváros because it offers the English study program that I wanted to take part in.


What things did you learn at UOD that were most helpful to you?

The greatest thing I have learnt during my time at the university is that I was exposed to a variety of perspective because people are from all parts of the world and everyone has their own thinking about one problem. I became more critical, more open-minded, and flexible as well.


What is the relationship like between the students and the professors?

With all respect, the conversation between students and professors are super comfortable. Professors are willing to listen to any topic that students concern and will try their best to give advices.


What do you think of the campus of the university?

The campus always brings me the sense of peace, tranquility and cleanness.


What do you think of the extracurricular activities (programs, events, excursions) at UOD?

Every semester, UOD offers free excursion to students, which is a great chance for foreign students to explore Hungary and to make new friends.


How well did UOD prepare you to enter the workplace?

The English study program along with unique experiences in an international environment equipped me with a good combination of technical knowledge and communication skills to enter the workplace with more confidence.


What advice would you give to prospective students who are considering to apply to UOD?

Experience as much as you can, reflect on those experiences to truly understand yourself, then work hard and smart to step closer to the best version of yourself.
