Unified Study System
Neptun is a unified study platform which is used by most of the Hungarian univerities. In Neptun you can handle all your study affairs such as registration for subjects and exams, manage finances, check timetables etc.
For freshmen and new users:
- Access to the NEPTUN system is done with a network ID, which is the ID you receive in the admission decision / email.
- When you first log in, the default password is “Ne” and your date of birth in the following form: NeYYYYMMDD. The deafult password must be changed immediately.
- You can log in to all the systems of the University with the same username and password. If for any reason you cannot log in to the Neptun, Moodle, Avatar system, you can request a new password by email at This email address is being protected from spambots. Technical informations:
The password should be at least 8 characters long and can only contain lowercase, uppercase, and numbers. It cannot contain accented characters or other punctuation.
