Summary

In an age when we cross continents during our travels, work for international companies and carry out out tasksin internatioanl groups, it is an essential requirement thatour sommunication skills are also suitable for these activities. 

In communication, people from different backgrounds meet and try to understand each other. However, for this communication it is no longer enough to acquire general communication skills.

 

Target group

  • It is recommended for anyone who is interested in having communication skills that they possess

    • can communicate successfully in an international environment,
    • there is a good chance you can avoid unpleasant situations arising from international differences,
    • adjusts with greater security in an international environment,
    • can easily adapt to circumstances in international companies.

 

The aim of the course

A person who has studied intercultural communication has the knowledge to communicate effectively and cooperate successfully with people from different cultures. The aim of the course is to develop verbal and non-verbal communication skills and improve negotiation skills. The following skills will improve after the training:

  • cultural sensitivity
  • communication skills
  • language competences
  • knowledge of cultural anthropology
  • conflict management
  • global awareness

The classes will be taught  by highly experienced academics. Students will receive official micro-credential from UOD.
