Eight students from the University of Dunaújváros took part in a short-term international study program at the (Times Higher Education ranked) Faculty of Economics of the Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek in Croatia, known as the Faculty of Economics in Osijek (EFOS) as part of the Pannónia Scholarship Programme.

The International Club held another engaging session on 25 February 2026, welcoming around 50 students who gathered to learn, share, and celebrate global perspectives.

The cooperation between the University of Dunaújváros (UOD) and IntelliFactory Kft., spanning over a decade, is an excellent example of how higher education and the IT industry can successfully interconnect.

On 20 February 2026, the University of Dunaújváros held its graduation ceremony, honoring the achievements of its newest graduates. This year’s celebration placed special emphasis on the international students who successfully completed their studies far from home, demonstrating resilience, adaptability and academic excellence.

Everyone is welcome to participate in the event!

On December 3rd 2025. the much-anticipated Christmas Party for our students was held once again spreading joy and festive cheer across campus

This year, many of our international students gathered to share in the warmth and spirit of the season, making it a truly memorable pre-Christmas celebration.

The atmosphere was magical from the moment guests arrived. The building was beautifully decorated with sparkling lights and festive ornaments, and Christmas music filled the air, setting the perfect holiday mood. As they entered, students were greeted with small gift packages, adding an extra touch of warmth to the occasion.

The evening began with an inspiring welcome speech from Dr. László Balázs, Academic Vice Rector of UoD, who kicked off the celebrations with heartfelt holiday wishes. Ms. Ildikó László Director of IRD also took the stage extending her warm greetings and sending her best festive wishes to everyone present.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the student performances, which added a truly special touch to the event. Tian Yuyang, a talented third-year student from China, mesmerized the audience with his flawless rendition of “Rain All Night.” His performance was so polished and captivating that it left everyone wondering why such a gifted artist hadn’t performed in previous years. Following him was Adaluz Suárez González, whose performance—just like last year—left a lasting impression on everyone in the room.

A new and exciting addition this year was the group game organized by Stipendium Hungaricum mentor Hebatollah,  which brought even more energy and fun to the event. The winners of the game were given festive gifts, adding an extra element of excitement to the evening.

The night was filled with laughter, dancing, and joy, thanks to the interactive Hungarian folk dance led by the Perkáta folk dance group (VELED az ifjúságért). Their lively performance had everyone on their feet, creating an infectious sense of happiness and camaraderie that spread throughout the building.

As the night went on, the DJ took over, playing upbeat tunes that got everyone on the dance floor, keeping the festive spirit alive late into the evening.

It was a night full of laughter, connection, and unforgettable memories. Everyone had an amazing time, and we are already looking forward to our next celebration together in 2026!
