Seven international students took part in the freshman camp of the University of Dunaújváros, a three-day program built around the traditions of Selmec.

The catchword ’UoD-HSUP’ means the Hungarian Startup University Program (HSUP) that runs also at the University of Dunaúiváros (UoD) since 2021. In the last 5 years, 23 projects took place successfully, and more than 400 students registrated in the course.

The Summer University 2025 program offered by the University of Dunaújváros (UoD) provided an enriching and memorable experience for international students. The program combined high-quality academic education with a strong focus intercultural and communication creating an inspiring environment for both learning and cultural exchange.

Last week on July 3, 2025. the HSUP Demo Day took place in Budapest at the Bosch Campus.
Among the 15 projects selected from the national HSUP program the AnchorDynamics team was mentored during the spring semester by Dr. Ervin Burkus a lecturer from the University of Dunaújváros.(UoD)

AnchorDynamics is a three-member team composed of students from ELTE (Eötvös Loránd University) and SE (Semmelweis University). They are developing a wearable exoskeleton for real-time motion correction, aimed at helping patients with neurodegenerative diseases by preventing falls and improving mobility — using biomechanics, artificial intelligence, and robotics.

At the HSUP coordinators' meeting Szilvia Kovács also participated representing the University of Dunaújváros. (UoD)

Following the tradition of previous years we are happy to announce that our second Summer University has started today at the University of Dunaújváros. The students will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge in the field of communication and media.
