The “Virtual Cohesion” startup idea has received significant professional recognition.
The Virtual Cohesion startup idea, developed by three computer engineering students at the University of Dunaújváros (UoD)—project leader Kristóf Sebrek, Dominik Borbély, and Levente Beödők—has been selected as one of the top 15 projects nationwide in the Hungarian Startup University Program (HSUP).
The goal of Virtual Cohesion, developed by the students, is to address the challenges that are increasingly common in hybrid and remote work environments, particularly employee isolation and the weakening of relationships within teams. The platform offers users an intelligent system that automatically connects colleagues who are free at the same time. The system creates connection opportunities based on participants’ shared interests, areas of work, and current mood, thereby helping to strengthen team cohesion and build workplace communities.

The platform also provides valuable support to HR professionals, as it helps identify communication issues and the risk of burnout early on through anonymous analyses, enabling organizations to take preventive measures.
The result achieved in the HSUP selection process confirms that Virtual Cohesion offers an innovative solution to a real and pressing problem. The student team from the University of Dunaújváros has been given the opportunity to present its innovative solution to potential investors, providing them with further motivation to continue development and prepare for the platform’s future market launch.
The student entrepreneurs will also receive the HSUP’s special scholarship (Seed Fund), which amounts to 1 million forints per person.
