The second IClub event of the semester has been organized on the afternoon of 26 April 2023.  with interesting presentations about Ireland, Malta and India.

 

On the last Wednesday in April, we had again the opportunity to enjoy another afternoon of talks and presentations about the cultures of different countries.

 

Prabal Shetty, a third-year Communication and Media student from India, who spoke about his home country, India, under the title "Discovering the hidden gems of India". He shared a lot of interesting facts about the rich culture of his country, the languages spoken in India, its gastronomy, landscapes, and explained that India is home to many other sports besides cricket, and that yoga is part of the physical education curriculum in schools.

 

 

 

9 students and 2 accompanying teachers from the Bánki Donát Technical School of the University of Dunaújváros recently travelled to Dublin, the capital of Ireland, as part of the Erasmus mobility project. The 9-member team (namely: Karolina Margó Mátyás, Balázs Antal, László Ádám Boros, Gergő Mókos, Tamás Nagy, Vanda Szabó, Ármin Szucsány, Bianka Bónus, Bence Bolvári) presented their experiences and knowledge gained abroad. The teachers were Krisztina Szabóné Papp and Ágnes Filarszkyné Tolnai.

 

 

Thanks to Erasmus mobility, another group of Bánki students also had the opportunity to travel to Malta to improve their language skills and learn about the environment and environmental awareness. The group was represented by 3 students, Dominik Kamondy, Zsombor Juhász and Ádám Pintér, who talked about their experiences in Malta with the support of their teachers, Orsolya Bartal and Gabriella Biliczki.
