How did you decide on choosing the University of Dunaújváros and the study program?
It’s very student oriented and it was also important for me that the city of Dunaújváros is close to Budapest, the capital city of Hungary.
What things did you learn at UOD that were most helpful to you?
I learned to be independent. It was my first experience abroad.
What is the relationship like between the students and the professors?
As the number of students is not that big, we were able to have a close relationship with our teacher. I am still in touch with some of them until today.
What do you think of the campus of the university?
The campus is so big and it’s so easy to get around. An important thing is that we feel safe all the time. My favorite time is during spring, it’s so pretty and worth taking a picture, or two.
What do you think of the extracurricular activities (programs, events, excursions) at UOD?
I enjoyed the international events where students from different countries present their culture and cook a special dish from their home.
What advice would you give to prospective students who are considering to apply to UOD?
Be prepared for a very unique experience. Enjoy the ride with all the ups and downs. You will learn a lot both ways. Do not forget to meet good people and make friendships on the way.
