Árpád Budavári, a founding member of the DUE Dutrade Futsal Club, received an award on November 25, 2021 from the Hungarian University-College Sports Association (MEFS).

Sport and a fit lifestyle are a priority at the University of Dunaújváros, so the recognition received at the prestigious event is especially important.

Árpád Budavári participated in the gala as a founding member of the Dunaferr DUE Dutrade Futsal Club. He was awarded  an Ilona Elek Commemorative Medal from the Hungarian University-College Sports Association. Since 2016, this award has been presented by MEFS to individuals who play an important role in supporting university sports.

The “University Athlete of the Year Award Gala” is held every year. The event was hosted by the University of Physical Education, with strict adherence to epidemiological measures.
