In 2023, the University of Dunaújváros (UoD), in collaboration with three partner institutions — Slovak Technical University in Bratislava (Slovakia), the University of Pardubice (Czech Republic), and the University College of Applied Sciences in Chelm (Poland) — joined the Visegrád 4 (V4) research project.

The project aims to identify labor market needs in response to the evolving demands brought about by the implementation of Industry 4.0 principles. It also seeks to propose innovative educational methods that align with these labor market needs while actively involving students. Furthermore, it evaluates and recommends updates to academic curricula to better prepare graduates with the competencies required by modern employers.

This two-year project is structured around five key milestones, each corresponding to a specific research task:

1. Preparation and presentation of the project
2. Identification of market needs and the potential of educational institutions
3. Research execution and analysis of findings
4. Testing and practical validation of proposed study program modifications
5. Finalization of study program innovations (Project completion: June 2025)

On May 12^th 2025, the UoD will host the project meeting, during which representatives from the partner universities will present their research findings in person. Following the presentations, a Q&A session will allow students and academic staff to engage directly with the speakers. Those unable to attend in person will also have the opportunity to join the event online.
