On 15 October 2026, students explored the role of AI and the challenges associated with its use.

As part of the Erasmus+ teaching mobility programme, Prof. Dr Utku Şendurur, a lecturer at the Department of Business Administration at Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University in Türkiye, delivered a lecture entitled “Artificial Intelligence and Accounting” at the University of Dunaújváros.

Following an overview of the fundamental principles of accounting, the lecture examined how artificial intelligence is transforming modern accounting and auditing practices. The session also explored the potential applications of intelligent systems and the risks associated with their use.

The programme concluded with a series of case studies, during which participants examined potential AI errors, algorithmic bias, and ethical dilemmas arising in financial decision-making.
