One of the most exciting and unforgettable chapters of university life is about to begin at the University of Dunaújváros (UoD).

For newly admitted students, the first milestone of their higher education journey is the University's Freshman Camp – a three-day event full of activities, new friendships and unforgettable experiences. Organised by the University of Dunaújváros Student Union (EHÖK), the camp will take place from 3 to 5 September 2026.

Freshman Camp is the perfect opportunity for first-year students to get to know their classmates, future dormitory roommates, lecturers and senior students before the academic year begins. It also helps them become familiar with the UoD campus and gain the essential information they need to start university life with confidence.

In addition to social programmes and evening parties, Freshman Camp plays an important role in preparing students for their studies. During the event, first-year students receive practical information about university regulations, the Neptun academic system, the University's institutes, the Student Union (EHÖK), and the traditions of the Selmec Heritage.
