On 20 February 2026, the University of Dunaújváros held its graduation ceremony, honoring the achievements of its newest graduates. This year’s celebration placed special emphasis on the international students who successfully completed their studies far from home, demonstrating resilience, adaptability and academic excellence.

The ceremony opened with a formal welcome from the university leadership, highlighting that earning a degree abroad requires not only academic commitment but also cultural openness and personal determination. The rector emphasized that international graduates enrich the university community, contributing diverse perspectives and strengthening global connections.

In the 2025/2026 academic year, several foreign students successfully passed their final examinations, becoming proud alumni of the University of Dunaújváros. Their accomplishments reflect years of dedicated study, perseverance through linguistic and cultural challenges, and active participation in university life.

The festive atmosphere was enhanced by musical performances, continuing the university’s long-standing tradition of combining academic recognition with cultural celebration. Family members, friends, facult, and fellow students gathered to share this milestone moment.

Representatives of the university, the Board of Trustees and the town also addressed the graduates. The mayor Tamás Pintér, reaffirmed that Dunaújváros remains open and welcoming to students from all over the world.
