University of Dunaújváros (UoD) participated for the first time in Morocco at the international student recruitment fair held in Casablanca, organised by a² International Education Fairs. This participation represents an important step in expanding the university’s international presence, as the region had not previously been among the institution’s targeted recruitment locations. The event provided an excellent opportunity for UoD to strengthen its visibility in a new and promising area.

The fair, which attracted over 1,500 visitors, generated significant interest in the university’s stand. Many attendees came specifically with the intention of pursuing higher education in Hungary and sought information in person about study programs, scholarships, and university services. Personal presence proved particularly valuable following the university’s recent years of online recruitment, as it allowed direct engagement with prospective international students.

The fair was not only successful in reaching potential students but also in expanding international connections. The university’s first collaboration with the organisers of a² International Education Fairs offered valuable experience and opportunities to establish contacts with representatives from other institutions.

Overall, the UoD’s presence in Morocco strengthens the university’s internationalisation efforts and lays the groundwork for further collaborations, as well as increasing interest from the region.
