On 19th March the University of Dunaújváros (UoD) hosted the first I Club event of the spring semester.
The I Club is an initiative aimed at fostering cultural exchange and enhancing social connections among both Dunaújvárosi Egyetem Bánki Donát Technikum’s students and international students of the University of Dunaújváros.
This time, participants had the chance to attend two informative presentations. The students from Bánki Secondary School, Álmos Várkonyi and Dániel Benjamin Szabó, delivered a presentation titled "Weather, Traffic and Traveling," while Gaspar Cambundo, an international student from the University of Dunaújváros, introduced his home country Angola to the audience.
The I Club serves as an important platform for the university's diverse student body, offering a space for international students to feel more integrated into the community while providing local students with a chance to learn about global perspectives. The event is a great opportunity to learn about each other’s cultures while strengthening our sense of community. We would like to invite and encourage all our students to participate in the next I Club, which will be held on 16th April.
