A cooperation agreement was signed by the Foundation of the University of Dunaújváros, the University of Dunaújváros (UoD), and the DSE Volleyball Academy.

At the signing ceremony on November 28, 2024, Dr. Lajos Mészáros, Member of Parliament, János Süli, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Marcell Benkó, member of the board and Director General of the Dunaújváros University Foundation, represented the Foundation.

On behalf of the University of Dunaújváros, Dr. István András, Rector and András Péter Kiss, President of the Sports Association of the University of Dunaújváros, were present.

The DSE Volleyball Academy was represented by Dr. Zoltán Gyula Kádár, the operational director of the Hungarian Volleyball Federation, and Tibor Tomanóczy, CEO of the DSE Volleyball Academy.

 

 

Two cooperation agreements were signed on this special occasion. The first agreement was signed by János Süli, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Tibor Tomanóczy, CEO of the DSE Volleyball Academy.

This cooperation agreement covers the Hungarian Volleyball Academy financing the replacement of the university sports hall’s flooring between June 30 2025, and August 31, 2025.

 

Additionally, the Foundation of Dunaújváros University will provide the Sports Hall to the DSE Volleyball Academy free of charge from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2030.

The second agreement was signed by Rector Dr. István András and Tibor Tomanóczy CEO of the Volleyball Academy.

 

Under this contract, the university offers further training opportunities for the employees of the DSE Volleyball Academy and will grant 100 additional admission points to support the enrollment of its staff and athletes.

In return, the Volleyball Academy commits to promoting the programs of the University of Dunaújváros and preparing the university's volleyball team for various competitions.

The Foundation of the University of Dunaújváros and University of Dunaújváros are committed to supporting sports, with the goal of integrating and efficiently operating university-level, leisure, and competitive sports in the region.
