The first I Club event of the semester has been organized on the afternoon of 25 September 2024, with interesting presentations about Oppenheimer, Mongolia and Morocco.
IC DUE is a series of events where participants can listen to presentations in English on a variety of interesting topics. The English-language lecture series is held on the last Wednesday of each month.
The Wednesday afternoon program included 3 presentations. The first presenter was Inrik Sipos, student of Bánki Donát Secondary School. His presentation was entitled "The father of the atomic bomb".
We have heard lots of interesting fact about Oppenheimer's lifestyle, history and The Manhattan Project.
The second presenter of the event was Udval Gantumur, an international student at the University of Dunaújváros. The tittle of her presentation was "Exploring Mongolia: the land of nomads and history”. She showed us a piece of Mongolia’s history, traditions, an interesting festival and cuisine. We were able to gain an insight into Mongolian TV programs as well.
Last, but not least Fatima Ezzahrah Mabchour, Ilyass Jebraoui and Tarik Jabbour second year international Students of UoD from Morocco has held their presentation about their beautiful home country. The presentation included Morocco's modernity, culture, history and traditions as well.
