As the destination of the second trip of the spring semester on 3rd of May, students from the University of Dunaujvaros had the opportunity to explore the charming town of Szentendre, located just a short distance from Budapest. The day’s itinerary was filled with cultural exploration and unforgettable experiences.
The students embarked on a guided tour ofthe main attractions of the town, including the charming cobblestone streets, colorful buildings, and well-preserved houses along the riverbank. The expert guide shared fascinating stories and historical tidbits about the town, bringing its rich past to life.
Following the guided tour, students enjoyed a leisurely boat ride along River Danube, admiring the scenic landscape and iconic landmarks. They learned about the river’s significance and its role in shaping the region’s history.
After working up an appetite, students savored a delicious lunch at local places as a freetime activity, some of them tried traditional Hungarian dishes.
As the day came to the end, the students returned to Dunaujvaros with a newfound appreciation for Szentendre’s charm and beauty. The trip proved to be a wonderful opportunity for the students to connect with Hungary’s history and culture, creating lasting memories in the process.
