His Excellency Rohan Nanayakkara, Honorary Consul of Hungary to Sri Lanka, visited the University of Dunaújváros for the second time.

 

On February 14, 2023, Dr. László Balázs, Vice Rector for Education, and István Szabó, Director General for Nuclear and International Affairs, hosted His Excellency Consul Rohan Nanayakkara and his entourage at the University of Dunaújváros for the second time.

The Consul visited our university for the first time in May 2022 to learn more about the University of Dunaújváros's educational portfolio, the institution's international development directions and achievements, and the scholarship programmes available for foreign students.

This visit was aimed at strengthening educational links between Hungary and Sri Lanka. His Excellency Rohan Nanayakkara assured the management of the University of Dunaújváros once again that as Honorary Consul of Hungary, he will do his utmost to encourage more young Sri Lankans to choose Hungary and the University of Dunaújváros for their university studies. To confirm this, an educational cooperation agreement was signed during the meeting.

 

Both the Consul and the Vice Rector expressed their commitment to cooperation and their hope that more and more students from Sri Lanka and neighbouring countries will choose the University of Dunaújváros for their university studies.
