Cooperation has been established between Fejér county, Győr-Moson-Sopron county, Komárom-Esztergom county, Vas county, Veszprém county and Zala county to develop the economic and cultural segment, thus creating the North-West Hungary Economic Development Zone.

The cooperation agreement was concluded between Dr. Judit Czunyiné Bertalan, Government Commissioner for the Complex Development of the North-West Hungary Economic Development Zone, and the University of Dunaújváros, on behalf of which Dr. István András István, Rector, acted.

As a key higher education institution in the Central Transdanubian Region, we can contribute to increasing the competitiveness of the zone, as DUE plays a key role in the region's education, research and development and third mission activities.

The agreement is in line with the university's objectives as set out in the Institutional Development Plan, namely the development of nuclear, green transformation and the internationalisation of the university.
