On 22 April 2022, the international students from the University of Dunaújváros had the opportunity to take part in an exciting and engaging excursion to the Lake Balaton. And each major student group (full time students, exchange students and Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship holders) joined this trip.

The first destination was Tapolca, where students could get acquainted with the Lake Cave. And the student had the opportunity to try small boats which can be hired to explore the cave system.  The students listened to the tour guide, who talked about the history of this cave and some of the rules that they should know before entering the boats. They watched a short film for ten minutes in which he talked about the information related to the cave and the lake.

For the rest of the afternoon, after viewing the lake cave, the second destination was Tihany.

Our students and their coordinators spent around three hours discovering the city and walking around, on the shore of the lake, and in the city streets, the students were also able to enter the church, and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
