The aim of the training of mechanical engineering at the University of Dunaújváros is to train professionals who are suitable for the operation and maintenance of machines and mechanical equipment, for the introduction and application of mechanical engineering technologies, to organize and manage work, to perform tasks of medium complexity in technical development, research and design according to the needs of the labor market.

The undergraduate training lasts for 7 semesters 2 of which consists of the subjects of the mechatronics specialization.

Infrastructure of UOD:

CAD / CAM-, CNC-, technical diagnostics-, mechatronics-, digital measurement-, FESTO pneumatics- and PLC-, SKF assembly technology laboratory, mechanical cutting and welding workshop. The equipment of the laboratories are provided by our partners: AUDI Hungaria, BOSCH, Delta-3N Ltd. Vibration diagnostics, ISD DUNAFERR, FESTO Automatics, OMRON Industrial Automation, SIEMENS Hungary, SKF Ltd.

  • Together with Paks II NPP we are establishing a research and development center. Besides our high quality and unique laboratories, there is an ongoing HUF 1.5 billion development of the engineering area.
