Paks Nuclear Power Plant Ltd. is a strategic partner of the University of Dunaújváros, and it is currently the only nuclear power plant in Hungary.

Its safe, cheap and environmentally friendly electricity generation has been providing a significant part of Hungary's electricity needs for more than 30 years. Today, the nuclear power plant provides more than 50 percent of the electricity generated in Hungary.

Nuclear safety is maintained at a level consistent with leading international practice and expectations. Development trends are monitored and the necessary improvements are implemented.
