35 international students of the University took part in the excursion to Visegrád organized by the international office.  The city of Visegrád is north of Budapest, it is one of the oldest town in Hungary. Up from the citadel, there is a beautiful view on the curve of the Danube. At least normally. Unfortunately the weather forecast predicted rain for the end of the week, and this time they were right. Drizzling rain and white fog awaited us, which prevented us to enjoy the sights. Luckily some programs made the student entertained. Our program consisted of a visit to life-like wax figure exhibition, a viewing of an exciting and humorous medieval knight contest and testing the mighty weapons of the knights. It was the first time for most of the students to shoot a bow for example. So referring back to the title, although the sky did not clear, the students could have gone home with some new experiences at the end of the day, which confirmed that it was a good excursion that is worth it to be organized.
