The International Club (I Club) at University of Dunaújváros (UOD)continued its engaging tradition of bringing students together to explore cultures from around the world. On Wednesday November 5th 2025, around forty students attended the event to learn, listen, and share ideas in a multicultural environment.
This session featured three thought-provoking PowerPoint presentations, each reflecting the international spirit of the university: Bangladesh, Die Währung der deutschsprachigen Länder (“The Currency of German-Speaking Countries”), and Strings through Time. The program encouraged students to present in both English and German, promoting language learning and intercultural exchange.
Diverse Perspectives
The event began with a presentation on Bangladesh delivered by M. Sarfaraj Newaz, who introduced the audience to his country’s rich traditions, lifestyle, and cultural identity. His engaging talk opened the door to meaningful discussions and sparked curiosity among the students.

The second presentation, “Die Währung der deutschsprachigen Länder,” was prepared and presented in German by Tamara Joboru-Kunstár, Richárd Nagy, and Réka Kovács. Their work explored the currencies of German-speaking countries connecting economic insights with historical and cultural contexts.
The final presentation, “Strings through Time,” was created by Dávid Péter Nagy and Marcell Lajos Valaczka. The students first introduced their topic through a PowerPoint presentation and speech, exploring how music has evolved through the ages. Following their presentation, they performed live on violin and guitar giving the audience a beautiful demonstration of the very music they had just discussed.

A Place for Cultural Exchange
The I Club once again proved to be an inspiring platform where students not only practice language skills but also gain a deeper appreciation for global perspectives. The combination of academic presentations and creative performance made this event a memorable experience for everyone involved.
