Approaching the end of the second semester International Office of the University of Dunaújváros organized an excursion to the exciting Abaliget Cave and  Pécs for international students of the university.

We started the trip with a guided tour in the stalactite cave in Abaliget. After the tour we had some time for taking photos and enjoying the view of the lovely lake.    We continued our trip to Pécs, which is definitely one of the most spectecular historic city in Hungary. After a lunch break we joined a guided tour in the most famous attraction of Pécs, the Dzsami or Mosque of Pasha Qasim which is a Catholic Church not, but was a mosque in the 16–17th century due to the Ottoman conquest.

Later the students had the chance to explor the downtown individually.

Thanks to the city’s lovely atmosphere and the sunny weather we spent the whole excursion in a great mood. We can say that the excursion was a great success and hope that everybody has got home from South Hungary with nice memories.
