Lama Mkanna is our Alumni student from Syria. She was graduated in 2020 in Mechanical Engineering MSc study programme. After her graduation she started her PhD at the University of Győr, Hungary in the field of transportation and vehicles engineering.

Although, she is not our student anymore, however she started to work in our university as a department engineer in the Institute of Engineering. We are happy to be part of her career life as well.

How did you decide on choosing the University of Dunaújváros and the study program?

I searched a lot to find the best university have the same major with high educational experience, and I found the University of Dunaújváros so I choosed it because of that. And I am very happy for this.

 

What things did you learn at UOD that were most helpful to you?

I have learned a lot of things from the university like to not stop dreaming, have new friends from different countries and cultures which is the best to meet different cultures of life.

 

What is the relationship like between the students and the professors?

The relationship between the students and the professors is very good and the professors are very helpful and open.

 

What do you think of the campus of the university?

The campus of the university is really nice, you feel like home.

 

What do you think of the extracurricular activities (programs, events, excursions) at UOD?

The extracurricular activities are the best, you can learn a lot and have fun because of them.

 

How well did UOD prepare you to enter the workplace?

The university prepared me very good to enter the workplace with the practice that I took it in labs.

 

What advice would you give to prospective students who are considering to apply to UOD?

I advice the students who considering to apply to UOD to trust in their decision and do not hesitate to apply to UOD!
