Summary

The Communication Summer University develops intercultural communication skills and self-awareness in an international context. Students explore how culture, social roles, and human interaction influence everyday and professional communication through interactive and practice-based activities. The program is ideal for those seeking personal growth and effective communication in multicultural environments.

 

Target group

The course is intended for undergraduate and graduate students interested in communication, social interaction, and multicultural studies. It is especially suitable for participants studying social sciences, education, international relations, or related fields. The program also benefits students who wish to improve their intercultural communication skills and self-awareness in international or diverse social environments.

 

The aim of the course

  • To develop students’ communication skills and self-awareness through practical and reflective learning methods.
  • To introduce the psychological foundations of social interaction and core social motives across cultures.
  • To enhance intercultural sensitivity and the ability to interpret behavior in diverse social contexts.
  • To support the effective use of verbal and non-verbal communication strategies in different roles and situations.
  • To foster responsible, cooperative, and reflective participation in multicultural communities.

The classes will be taught  by highly experienced academics. Students will receive official micro-credential from UOD.
