Travel Documents, Insurance and Residence Requirements

Before travelling, make sure that your passport or other travel document is valid for the entire period required for your stay.

Depending on your nationality and length of stay, you may need a visa or a residence permit. Check the applicable requirements with the Hungarian authorities or the Hungarian diplomatic mission responsible for your country before departure.

You must also have appropriate health insurance for your stay in Hungary. The coverage and documentation required may depend on your nationality and individual circumstances.

Please begin these arrangements early. Visa and residence procedures may take time, and you should not assume that your travel or residence documents will be issued automatically following nomination.

Your First Steps at the University

After arrival, follow the registration instructions sent to you by the University of Dunaújváros.

You should be prepared to:

• Complete the required university registration procedures.
• Present the documents requested by the International Relations Directorate.
• Confirm your course enrolment and timetable.
• Check your access to the University's digital learning and communication systems.
• Attend any orientation or introductory activities arranged for incoming students.
• Confirm the procedures for accommodation, local administration and residence documentation, where applicable.
