Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Studies (SMS)
Erasmus+ the most important exchange program covering a wide range of opportunities for students. During your bachelor and master studies Erasmus+ gives you the opportunity to study a semester or two at another European University for free. You will be provided with a monthly scholarship for the time of your stay from which you are able to cover your expenses. (e.g. travel costs, accommodation fee and cost of living).
The main language of the programme is English at most of our partner institutions, but with a decent knowledge of another European language you will be able to find a suitable university with which the University of Dunaújváros has a signed Erasmus+ partnership agreement.
The ECTS credits acquired abroad can be later accepted here, furthermore you also have the opportunity to have a personalized schedule and enroll a few subjects here at our university as well, so participating in Erasmus doesn't affect your advancement concerning your studies.
You are eligible to apply if the following conditions meet:
- Currently you are in an active status, and you remain an active student of the University in the semester, in which you choose to study abroad
- You will have the study requirements of the first two semesters of your course already completed by the time when starting your Erasmus period abroad
- The language of the education at the chosen partner institution is reasonably well spoken by you
If you have made up your mind, and you meet the main requirements above, you can apply at the International Relations Office by filling in the Erasmus+ application form, can be found in the Documents for Download section. Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Training (SMT)
In the framework of the Erasmus+ program, there are two different grant and mobility schemes for students: for studies and for traineeships. Students intending to do an internship are supposed to submit a traineeship proposal directly to the company or institution abroad they are interested in. Only after receiving the official approval, the student can officially apply for the Erasmus+ grant.
