A delegation from a Chinese partner university, Shangqiu Normal University visited the University of Dunaújváros on the 7th December 2023.
On behalf of the University of Dunaújváros (UOD), the guests were welcomed by Dr. Judit Pázmán, vice rector of scientific and research affairs, Dr. Andrea Szabó, an assistant professor of the Institute of Engineering Sciences, Katalin Gyöngyössy, the director of international relations and József Vágó, international relations coordinator.

Being the first visit of Shangqiu Normal University to Dunaújváros in the first half of the meeting the representatives of the two institutions of higher education introduced themselves, presented their study programme ranges and internationalisation goals, and they explained the reasons of their interest for working together as partners. The Shangqiu Normal University intends to establish cooperation with UOD, especially on the area of student exchange programmes and in educational cooperation for teacher training. They plan to send Chinese students of their university to Dunaújváros in the future primarily for short educational programmes, such as Summer Universities of UOD in the near future. The program of the visit was completed with a campus tour presenting the educational and research facilities of UOD.
