The Tempus Foundation organised a special event to welcome all new Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship holders to Hungary on 20th November 2023.

The Welcome Event celebrated the 10-year-long SH Scholarship program. After the welcome speeches and award ceremony the international community of SH participated at intercultural workshops and Hungarian folk dance performance, having the opportunity to join the dancers.

UOD's SH student community was represented by 1st year students Salma Elbaz and Nicholas Otonoku.
It is also a tradition that the excellent student award is presented to the best students at the welcome event. This year, UOD SH scholarship student Symbat Sharsheeva was found worthy of the award.

Congratulations to Symbat, our 3rd-year Communication and Media Studies student for winning the award - we wish her good luck for her final year at UOD!
