The Memorandum of Understanding on the Tripartite Cooperation Agreement calls for cooperation in nuclear education, research and development and the introduction of new technologies.

Mr. Balázs Bodnár, Managing Director of Framatome's local subsidiary, Ferenc Berki, President and CEO of Hunatom Innovation and Economic Development Ltd, and the University of Dunaújváros was represented by Rector Dr. István András and Marcell Benkó General Director of the Foundation for the University of Dunaújváros.

 

The first step in the implementation of the cooperation is to examine how is the professional quality control training offered by Framatome for the on-site work of the nuclear power plant construction can be integrated into the educational structure of the University of Dunaújváros. The need for the training is demonstrated by the fact that Framatome expects its owner, EdF and its employees working on ongoing and future power plant construction works to do so.

In his speech, the President and CEO of Hunatom Innovation and Economic Development Ltd. explained that the most important goal of the Company is to summarize the experience gained in managing Hungarian innovations in nuclear energy, He is pleased to help with the cooperation, he believes that Hunatom, together with its nuclear professional competencies and with the industrial and higher education partners in the consortium, will take on the Central Danube region and the Paks II region in an innovative way. of support development.

 

Under the terms of the agreement, the parties intend to strengthen cooperation in the peaceful uses of nuclear energy, in particular in the fields of education and training, as well as research and development and new technological innovations.

 

According to the plans, the cooperation between the parties will take place through the exchange of experience and information, as well as the development and adaptation of specific training and education programs in Hungary, such as special basic / basic courses and trainings related to Bachelor (BSc) and Master (MSc) programs. In addition, they intend to promote research and development cooperation in order to share experiences, initiate joint projects and exploit mutual benefits.

 

The aim of DUE is to play a key role in Hungarian higher education in the field of promoting and organizing nuclear themed education and training. The cooperation established strengthens and establishes this for the University.
