As one of the key knowledge centers in the surrounding region, the University of Dunaújváros took a leading role in organising local events in the framework of the European Mobility Week to be held between 16-22 September 2018.

The EUROPEANMOBILITYWEEK campaign provides the perfect opportunity to present sustainable mobility alternatives to local residents and to explain the challenges that cities and towns are facing. By taking part, towns and cities can showcase the benefits of cleaner transport choices and make progress towards better mobility in Europe.

Besides joining the different events organised by the Municipality of Dunaújváros all over the week, UOD will host a full-day program series under the name  "Electromobility - Green Day at the University of Dunaújváros" on 20 September.

Electromobility is one of the main research areas at the University of Dunaújváros. Our Electromobility Day will start with a scientific conference, where researches of our university present the latest result of their work. The conference will be followed by a Sports Day, where UOD students, professors and colleagues can join the different sports activities and competitions. An exhibition on electromobility-related topics will be held in the A building where visitors can see and learn more about e.g. electric cars, VR simulator, solar, tracking and gyroscoping robots and IPAD games. The same exhibition will be available next day as one of the program points of the city’s Car-Free Day.
