Scientific conference organized by the Teacher Training Centre of the University of Dunaújváros on the occasion of the Hungarian Science Festival.

With the rapid acceleration of the flow of information and the increasing spread of digital networks, the 21st century has necessarily brought with it the overhaul and rethinking of the functions, order, and methods of today's school system. The issue of digitization and sustainability has also become increasingly the focus of pedagogical discourses, but since the introduction of digital education as a result of the pandemic caused by the coronavirus, it has become even more necessary to think about it.

The Sessions of our Conference on Education to be held within the framework of the Science Week are therefore also organized around these topics. We can hear about the historical antecedents and experiments of distance education in the past, how education participants experienced quarantine digital education, what methodological options are available to educators in the changed teaching space, and what social responsibility they have to ensure the sustainability of environmental values.

Nearly 25 performers are going to present their thoughts and research results on the topic in three Hungarian and two English language sessions. The English-language sessions offer an opportunity for real international dialogue, as participants represent Russia, Poland, Serbia, and Hungary.
