The 43th National Conference on Teaching Mathematics, Physics and Computer Sciences (MAFIOK) was held in Dunaújváros, Hungary between 26 and 28 August at the University of Dunaújváros.


The conference was designed for researchers and teachers in Mathematics, Physics and iIformatics to promote modern and efficient education in higher education. The conference was opened by the welcome speeches of Dr. Miklós Horváth, Director of the Institute of Engineering Sciences (UOD), Dr. András Nagy, Vice Rector for Scientific and Research Affairs (UOD), and Mr. Gábor Cserna, Mayor of Dunaújváros. and through poster presentations and personal meetings to exchange experience.

 

 

The conference was designed for researchers and professors in Mathematics, Physics and Informatics to promote modern and efficient education in higher education, and through poster presentations and personal meetings to exchange experience.
For the three-day event, 60 persons were registered and more than 30 lectures were given. The main topics were of yourse Mathematics, Physics and Information Science – and participants could hear interesting presentations on – among others - innovations in IT, on the operation of nuclear reactors and on interesting topics within Mathematics. Presentations will be published later on.
