The mobile interactive info truck is a rolling exhibition that awaits the visitors with exciting tools and tasks that introduces the concept of nuclear energy. It arrived now to the campus of the University of Dunaújváros

The vehicle shares information about the production of nuclear energy, about the environmental-friendly usage of the amount of power and about the role of Paks Nuclear Power Plant in Hungary. It shows the current plans about the Paks II. project as well for those who cannot visit the information and exhibition centre in Paks.

 

 

The visitors have the possibility to learn about the method of energy production through interactive boards, they can find out more about the achieved results of Paks II. Project so far also about its economic, social and environmental effects. Large number of photos help them to understand more about the events and milestones of the project. Besides this short movies introduce the 3+ generation VVER 1200 block type as well. Also there is an opportunity to take a virtual walk in a power plant similar to the one that they plan for Paks. The gathered knowledge can be tested by completing quizzes and the best ones can win some gifts as well.

 

 

The truck is visiting places, events, festivals in Hungary ever since 2009 to introduce the nuclear energy to the locals. You can check out the truck until 6th June 2019 next to the park in front of the main building.
